Wildcroft Cottage – Booking Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with Wildcroft Cottage, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed once the booking process has been completed and payment has been successfully received.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, the full booking amount is payable at the time of booking.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Cancellations
We understand that plans sometimes change.
If you cancel your booking:
30 days or more before check-in: you will receive a full refund.
14–29 days before check-in: you will receive a 50% refund of the accommodation charges.
Less than 14 days before check-in: the accommodation charges are non-refundable, subject to the provisions below and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
The cleaning fee and any other charges for services that have not been provided will be refunded if your stay does not proceed.
If we are able to rebook your cancelled dates
If your cancellation results in an amount being retained and we are subsequently able to rebook some or all of the cancelled dates, we will take the replacement booking into account when determining our actual loss.
Where the replacement booking reduces our loss, an additional refund will be provided accordingly, less any reasonable costs or losses arising from the cancellation.
Changes to booking dates
We are happy to consider requests to change booking dates where possible. Changes are subject to availability and the rates applying to the new dates.
A request to change dates may be treated as a cancellation and new booking where the change is made close to arrival or would leave the original dates unlikely to be rebooked.
Guest numbers
Wildcroft Cottage may only be occupied by the number of guests included in the booking, up to the maximum permitted occupancy.
Please contact us before arrival if your guest numbers change. Additional guest charges may apply.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in and check-out times will be provided with your booking information.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement but cannot be guaranteed.
Care of the cottage
We ask that guests treat Wildcroft Cottage, its furnishings, gardens and surrounds with reasonable care.
Please let us know promptly if anything is accidentally damaged or if you become aware of a maintenance or safety issue during your stay.
Guests may be responsible for reasonable costs arising from damage beyond ordinary wear and tear where the damage is caused by the guest or members of their party.
Parties, events and conduct
Wildcroft Cottage is offered as peaceful short-stay accommodation.
Parties and events are not permitted unless specifically agreed with us beforehand. Guests must not engage in activities that unreasonably disturb neighbours or cause damage to the cottage or property.
Exceptional circumstances
We understand that genuinely exceptional circumstances can arise. If something unexpected prevents you from travelling, please contact us as soon as possible.
Requests for a refund or booking change outside the cancellation terms above will be considered having regard to the circumstances, our ability to rebook the accommodation and any applicable legal requirements.
Cancellation by Wildcroft Cottage
In the unlikely event that we cannot provide the cottage for your booked stay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and refund amounts paid for accommodation that cannot be provided.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
